Transport, 6″ x 6″

I am happy to announce that my painting, “Transport” has been included in the “Mid-Atlantic New Painting, 2014”  now showing at the Ridderhof Martin Gallery of  the University of Mary Washington, in Fredericksburg, VA .    The show will be on exhibit now through Feb. 28, 2014. Gallery hours are T-F 10am – 4pm and Sat.-Sun 1-4.

“Transport” is a small work at  6’x6″ and is a layered painting of spray enamel, acrylic, metal leaf, patina, and iron oxide on woodblock.   It is from my oxidation painting series and is a study for a larger work now in progress.
